Recently, when I stopped my car near a vacant lot, I found a stray dog nearby. It was eating very deliciously, I thought it was gnawing on a delicious bone because its face looked very happy with me.
A while later, I came back to get the car and saw it still eating. I was surprised so I went closer to see what was going on. It wasn’t afraid of people and kept hiding, it continued to chew. When I looked closely, it turned out it was eating a piece of wood . It chewed little by little until the piece of wood was worn away until only a little bit remained . It must have been very hungry. It looked so heartbreaking.
Since there was no food in the car, I brought it home. Luckily, it was very friendly and everything went smoothly. When we got home, it was not afraid but very playful , running around everywhere like it was its own home.
I brought water and canned meat for it to eat, it ate very well, when I gave it anything to eat it ate cleanly without being picky. Maybe it had suffered a lot, so I will raise it and give it a new life, no longer having to worry about hunger and cold.
