Marley is one of their rescue cats who was found in a garbage dump. Someone abandoned him and left him to fend for himself. Due to trying to survive on the streets for many days, the poor guy was in a bad health. He needed proper medical treatment and care, so volunteers at Let’s Adopt took him to a local vet for a check-up.
His body was full of wounds and fleas. An X-ray also showed that his internal organs affected. The vets gave him emergency treatment, but it didn’t work. Marley was so sick and weak that everyone was scared he would not survive. They took him to Valencia Sur Veterinary Hospital to get a better treatment for his health problem.
After performing a CT scan and doing different tests, the doctors said that Marley had serious diseases such as parasite-included pneumonia, incipient chronic kidney disease, and feline calicivirus infection. He couldn’t eat normally as his mouth was full of sores and painful. He also lost some teeth and couldn’t bite food like other cats.
His situation was terrible and required a long and complicated treatment, but the doctors did not give up. They knew that they had to try their best to save his life. They performed Photoevaporation, and it was successful. Marley then started his recovery road under the care and love of the staff.
A few weeks later, he was healthy and ready to have a loving home that he deserved. After all that he had been through, he is now living happily with great owners who love him so much. We pray the rest of his life will be a loving one. Thank you for helping him and giving a second chance at a happy life! God bless all of you!
