Ambitious to surpass Chiron, Divo possesses the advantages of high speed when cornering, customers no longer have the opportunity to buy this supercar.

""

After the blockbuster Chiron launched in 2016, Bugatti introduced the Divo with no small ambition to surpass its own top supercar. Accompanying the price of 5.8 million USD are improvements in aerodynamic design but at the same time increasing the aesthetics of the supercar developed based on Chiron.

""

Bugatti named the new supercar Divo, inspired by Albert Divo, the legendary French racer who twice won the Targa Florio tournament held on an island in Sicily, Italy starting in 1906.

If the Chiron is a supercar born for sprinting, the Divo is designed for curves. Driving feel is a priority on this model, even when driving on the track or on the street.

""

It is a developed version based on Chiron, but Divo’s appearance is much more aggressive and sporty. The car keeps the original Chiron’s steering wheel and changes the design of the bonnet, hips and rear to be more muscular.

""

Bugatti engineers used aerodynamic grooves on both sides to create four independent airflows to cool the Divo’s high-performance brakes. The car’s roof also has grooves that direct airflow into the engine compartment for cooling.

The carbon fiber Divo front bumper helps the car reduce weight and increase downforce on the road surface by a weight equivalent to 90 kg more than the Chiron.

""

The Divo has new headlight and taillight designs. Particularly, the rear lights are 3D shaped. A cluster of four exhaust pipes placed between the grooves divides the airflow to the rear.

""

The Divo cockpit has not changed much compared to the Chiron, but many details are made of carbon fiber, helping the total vehicle weight reduce by 35 kg compared to the Chiron.

""

Divo uses light weight wheels, front wheel size 16.5 inches, rear wheel size 15.7 inches. Bugatti increased the camber angle (the angle of inclination of the wheel with the vertical viewed from the front or rear of the wheel), with the aim of creating better acceleration for each acceleration of the Divo.

""

Similar to Chiron, Divo is equipped with an 8-liter W16 engine with four turbochargers, 1,500 horsepower, maximum torque of 1,600 Nm. 7-speed dual-clutch transmission, four-wheel drive.

The car accelerates from 0-100 km/h in less than 2.5 seconds. Bugatti did not give a figure for the maximum speed the Divo can reach, but it is limited to 380 km/h. While Chiron can reach a critical speed of 420 km/h.

""

Only 40 Bugatti Divo supercars were produced, priced at 5.8 million USD and sold out.
