A little while ago Dani and her partner Bello decided to rent a remote cabin in Georgia and enjoy their long weekend together.
Together with their adorable dog Nalu they instantly fell in love with the amazing nature surrounding the cabin.
However, the morning after their arrival Dani and Bello were woken up by strange scratching sounds coming from underneath the cabin.
They initially got scared that their dog Nalu somehow got out and ended up trapped under the cabin.
To their relief, Nalu was in the living room, as baffled as them by the scratching sound. Dani decided to go out and check if maybe a wild animal found its way to the cabin.
But to Dani’s surprise, it was not a wild animal that took shelter underneath the cabin’s porch.
An adorable longhaired stray cat met her eyes once Dani peaked under the porch. Dani called her boyfriend Bello to come out as he was a true cat lover.
He rushed outside and instantly fell in love with the cat. With her long black fluff and round eyes, it was hard for them to believe no one rescued her from the stray life.
Bello jumped into his car and drove to the nearby city to get some cat food, while Dani stayed to keep her company.
The sweet cat was not afraid of them and she enjoyed the sudden attention she got. However, once they tried to lure her into the cabin and feed her inside, she refused.
She preferred to stay outside and eat and this is when Dani noticed an adorable feature on her. Her two teeth were showing, looking like little vampire fangs.
This reminded Dani of the cartoon character Toothless and they decided to call her just like that.
With her new name, Toothless had no idea she just met her forever family. Dani contacted the cabin owner asking her about the cat.
She confirmed that Toothless was indeed a stray and she had nothing against Dani taking her back to Miami.
On their last day at the cabin, Dani wrapped Toothless in a blanket and they drove down to Miami.
A quick vet visit later it was confirmed that Toothless was a healthy little girl. She immediately bonded with their dog and the two even started napping together!
Today, Toothless lives a happy life of a chubby indoor cat surrounded by people who adore her!
I’m so glad Dani and Bello decided to rent this particular cabin as it led them straight to Toothless!
