One thing’s for certain, Mansory doesn’t do things by half.
If the truth be told, none of the famed German tuner’s creations are particularly subtle.
The new Mansory G-Wagen is no different.
We’d go as far as saying it’s quite possibly one of the most striking we’ve seen to date.
The vehicle tuner refers to its latest Mansory G-Wagen as ‘Desert Sand’ in reference to its sand-colored exterior finish.
It’s supposed to replicate combat camo, with the G-Class having a rich history as an army vehicle.
It’s never been bulletproof, but a turret wouldn’t look out of context here.
Beyond the paint job, a selection of new parts from Mansory have been added.
The SUV’s fascia has been entirely changed with the addition of a new grille, carbon fiber bumper, revised LED daytime running lights, and new carbon fiber intake shrouds.
What really stands out, though, is the hood which is made from lightweight forged carbon fiber.
To really draw attention to yourself, there’s a set of LED lights that are housed on the roof within a carbon shroud.
Making the SUV stand out even more here is a set of Mansory FS.15 forged wheels.
They measure 24×10 at the front and 24×12.5 at the rear, and come with rally-inspired aerodiscs.
The Mansory G-Wagen has been given new arches, a set of aftermarket side steps, and several alterations to its rear.
These include a large rear spoiler mounted to the roof, a forged carbon spare wheel cover, and a new bumper.
Fear not, they haven’t forgotten about the cabin of the Mansory G-Wagen, which also receives several upgrades.
It’s bathed in tan leather, from the seats to the dashboard, floors mats to the steering wheel, as well as the transmission tunnel.
There’s even a ceiling-mounted engine start ʙuттon.
Under the hood the Mansory G-Wagon has been treat to performance upgrades, too.
The tuner has modified the 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 so that it now produces 900 hp and 885 lb-ft of torque.
That’s enough to propel the SUV from 0-100km/h (0-62mph) in just 3.3 seconds and on to a top speed of 250km/h (155mph).
Unfortunately, the German tuner hasn’t revealed a price for the new Mansory G-Wagon, but we’re sure it’ll cost a pretty penny.
